Johns Hopkins University offers non-degree seeking international students the opportunity to study at one of the foremost research institutions in the United States. VIS Program students are registered as full-time students and have access to all facilities and services on the Homewood Campus.
The Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering share the Homewood Campus, located on 140 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in Baltimore, Maryland. The two schools have a combined enrollment of 4,700 undergraduates, 1,700 graduate students, and 225 postdoctoral fellows. Nearly 10% of the undergraduate student body is made up of international students representing more than 68 countries.
At Hopkins you will be able to take advantage of the breadth and depth of our undergraduate academic departments and programs. The VIS Program allows visiting international and exchange students to take courses in a single department or to explore the interconnections between disciplines by taking courses across multiple departments.
