Registering for Classes While Abroad
Several weeks prior to registration for the semester you will be returning to campus, the Office of Study Abroad will email you the schedule, information and instructions on registering for on-campus classes while you are still abroad.
If you will not have internet access because you are in an unusually isolated area, Director of Study Abroad Dr. Citti (email@example.com) can register you manually. If that is the case, please send her your course choices (numbers AND titles) as well as some alternate choices. However, we have found that internet access is generally available in most areas of the world at locations such as cafes, even if you are planning to travel during the registration dates.
Writing Seminars majors will be contacted by their department prior to the general registration so that they can register for departmental courses ahead of time.
In preparation for registration, you will need to check SIS to see if you have holds. If you see the word “Alerts” in red above the toolbar, click to see what is required to release the hold(s) and, if necessary, contact the appropriate office. Once you have completed what is required, the alert disappears the next time you log back into SIS for Students.
Engineering Students: You must email your course selection to your faculty advisor and request that your Advisor Alert be released.

Schedule – The registration dates vary semester to semester. Generally registration is offered by class order.
Mon – Seniors (7 a.m.)
Wed – Juniors (7 a.m.)
Fri – Sophomores (7a.m.)
