NEW Summer Opportunity in Collaboration with the Baltimore Museum of Art in Venice, Italy
June 1-10, 2017
APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 13
Behind the Scenes at the Venice Biennale is a collaborative program organized by the Baltimore Museum of Art and Johns Hopkins University. Students will spend one week at the Biennale (a world renowned contemporary exhibit) meeting artists, activists, curators and exhibit professionals to explore the nexus between contemporary art and social activism in global and community contexts.
Designed for underrepresented students in the arts, the program strives to provide insight into the roles of art and to encourage students to consider careers in the arts, museums, and community arts programming.
